Deepnight
Second animation short-movie "Deepnight".

PITCH:
A man suffering from insomnia tries by all means to get back to sleep.

Synopsis
Jim, 27, is awake in his bed.
It's already 1 a.m. and he can't fall asleep. His gaze wanders around his room once again in search of sleep. He looks at the sleeping pills on his bedside table. Then looks away. He doesn't want them.
He gives in and takes them multiple times. The sleeping pills don't have the desired effect and Jim finds himself trapped by his anxieties in a psychedelic insomnia that seems endless.
He hallucinates and wants to escape the shadows in his room that watch and torment him.
He escapes through his dissonant hallway. In vain. The shadows drag him into their wave where he drowns.
He sees himself bringing a glass of water to his mouth. He is carried away by the current and falls into his own mouth amidst a rain of anesthetic pills. He falls into an endless spiral.
He falls right in the middle of a cemetery. The graves in front of him are those of his parents.
Hordes of crows burst out of them to throw themselves at him and tear him apart. The alarm clock goes off in Jim's apartment.
He is pulled from his delusions and gets up laboriously. He turns off his alarm.
